The Réseau Ouest Africain des Jeunes Femmes Leaders (ROAJELF) has elected a new president to pilot it affairs and lead them to greater heights.
Hon. Awetu Jatt Hope emerged the President of the Union for the year 2021/2022. ROAJELF is a network that was setup by ECOWAS Centre for Gender Development (ECGD) in 2009, Dakar, Senegal for the promotion of young women’s rights, reproductive health, education for development, peace and economic integration and currently in 15 African countries including Nigeria.
Hon. Awetu is a vibrant and dedicated young lady, passionate about leadership and rights of the girl child with diverse experience ready to impact others positively is more than willing to take the network to the next level of greatness. However she is open to new ideas that will keep ROAJELF in a good light. Membership is free and voluntary to all African female leaders aged 18-35 and undertake to abide by the governing regulations and agree to work towards implementation and success of activities initiated and developed within the framework of the promotion and empowerment of young girls in the Sub Region.
